The Meaco Arete 2 (20L) runs very smoothly, and you’ll likely not experience any issues unless it's not placed in your bedroom. After a few minutes of operation, the fan becomes quite silent, but you should expect a sudden noise from the compressor each time it turns on. This can happen 5-10 times a day, depending on the humidity levels in your property. While the fan remains quiet, most of the noise comes from the hum of the compressor.
