Turkish crochet tutorial - How to make a beaded rope with Turkish crochet

Learn how to make a necklace or bracelet with the Turkish crochet technique.

You will need:
-2 colors of 4mm fire polished beads (2x 94 for necklace; 2x 45 for bracelet)
-11/0 seeds Japanese seed beads
-0,35mm or # F nylon beading thread
-findings for the clasp: 2 headpins, 2 end caps, clasp and rings
-superglue

*These amounts will give you a 43cm finished necklace and a 20cm finished bracelet.*
If you want a different size, you can use this rule of thumb:

!Determine the finished length you want and subtract 3cm for the findings!

For 4mm fire polished beads with 11/0 seed beads:

1cm CROCHETED rope uses 4,8 fire polished beads.
So DESIRED LENGHT x 4,8 = TOTAL amount of beads needed.
If you are using different colors, divide the total amount by the amount of colors.

For 6mm fire polished beads with 9/0 seed beads:

1cm CROCHETED rope uses 3,3 fire polished beads.
So DESIRED LENGHT x 3,3 = TOTAL amount of beads needed.
If you are using different colors, divide the total amount by the amount of colors.
