How to make DIY Clear Slime Recipe. It's liquid glass. This is a super easy slime recipe that only uses 2 ingredients. This is the easiest clear slime recipe you will find. In fact, I may make a giant clear slime tutorial later using it. Unlike most clear slime recipes this slime recipe uses no borax. All you need is clear elmer's glue and dye free tide liquid detergent. To make the clear slime just combine the glue and detergent. Try to make as few bubbles as possible when mixing the slime. As you can see it's almost impossible not to make bubbles when making clear slime. When you finish mixing the slime put it in an airtight container and let it rest for a few days. This will cause the bubbles to rise and disappear leaving you with liquid glass clear slime. Some people call it thinking putty. You could also use Borax and water instead of the detergent, but you are more likely to end up with clear putty. I have found that using detergent to make liquid glass works best and leaves you with really clear slime.
