How to make perfect motichoor Laddu
MOTIchoor ladduuu.. 😋 here's a quick recipe
*Ingredients*
- 1 cup besan (gram flour)
- ¼ cup ghee + more for frying
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup water
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- pinch of edible silver leaf (optional)
- nuts for garnish (optional)
*Steps*
1. *Make the boondi* – Heat ghee in a kadhai, drop besan batter through a perforated spoon into hot ghee, fry till golden, drain on paper.
2. *Sugar syrup* – Dissolve sugar in water, bring to a one‑string consistency, add cardamom powder.
3. *Combine* – Toss the fried boondi into the warm syrup, mix gently.
4. *Shape* – When mixture is cool enough, grease palms with ghee and shape into small laddus.
5. *Garnish* – Top with nuts or silver leaf if you like.
