"20:20 Vision" - a composition by Robb Lawton

Well here we are - Easter 2020 and we're all in lock-down.
I'm always working on some musical project, and just before Easter I was playing with a 'Latin/Bossanova' theme, which I ended up calling "20:20 Vision".

As I say in the video, it starts in the lounge where my grand piano is situated, and I play around with ideas, until something pops up that may be worth some further exploration. One evening up popped this theme, and I quickly recorded it on my iPhone for further investigation the following day.

Well it did develop a little over the following day or two, so I then took it to my music studio at the other end of the house, and played around with some soundscapes to go with it. Then over a few days, and a number of visits, revisits, tear-ups and restarts I got to the point (where it is here and now) where I decided to call it finished and 'have the picture framed'.

I made the decision to share it on YouTube, and for that it needed some graphics, and there was the opportunity to introduce the music.

So here it is .................. the result of Easter 2020 in lock-down.
