I want to tell ya'll about a friend of mine. He's been a teacher and mentor, taught me a great deal about gardening. And he's also set a great example of being the type of person who is helpful and encourages others. His name is Donald, also know as the Bayou Gardener, and Webcajun to the youtube folks.

Donald hasn't been around for a few months now. The old "ticker" has been giving him some problems. But, thankfully, he is recovering from the surgery and I hope to see him back posting videos very soon.

During the last 4 yrs or so, I've learned a lot from Donald. Everything from brewing compost tea to how to grow softball sized Candy onions. A lot of my successes can be directly attributed to him, along with other members of the Bayou Forum.
