25 Year History of Radio Controlled Model Aircraft Changes with Kent Bergsma
Kent explains how he got involved in the RC model airplane hobby almost 25 years ago and the amazing changes that are happening today. He started by building a flying a Carl Goldberg glider called the "Sophisticated Lady." Moved up to a Goldberg Eagle and then built and flew a Goldberg Ultimate. He loves every aspect of the hobby today, flying EDF jets, foam models, electric models, warbirds, big scale gasoline powered aerobatic RC models, micro scale models, pattern models with YS glow engines, helicopters and 3D. The day he filmed this it would have been Carl Goldberg's 100th birthday. Carl has been called the father of model Aviation. In his honor Kent will be doing a future series of training videos on ALL aspects of building and flying radio controlled model aircraft.
