Parking Brake Console Seal Install, Replace C3 Corvette

The parking brake seal in my '76 Vette got stuck under the console, and it cracked and broke as I pulled the handle.

Removing and installing a new sliding seal is not difficult, but the way mine got stuck also necessitated the removal of the shifter console, which as you probably know, can be a real pain.

Nonetheless, to do the job right I removed it, corrected the problem that got me to that point, and took the opportunity to restore a couple of brackets that no one sees because it was the right thing to do. At least that's what I tell myself.

So in the end, a one-hour job took several hours, but it was time well-spent.
