Hi! My name is Mark, and this is the story of how I made 100 million dollars when I turned 13.

You see, my parents were really rich. They owned a lot of successful companies and made millions every single month.
Though they had more than enough money to buy me anything I wanted, they were really cheap when it came to my requests. Sure, I had new clothes and I really didn’t lack the essentials, but they never let me buy anything extravagant.

I understand that they wanted to teach me the value of money, but it still really annoyed me. I kept asking for nice gifts and they always said no except for Christmas and my birthday.

At school, I was always really popular. Kids wanted to be around me, and I had a great time in class. I got great grades and all my teachers seemed to like me. My classmates wanted to ride with me on the amazing car my dad had bought for me. I was really young, so you can imagine I didn’t drive it. I had a personal driver to make sure I got around safely.

Now I realize that those kids liked me because of my dad’s money, but I didn’t really mind back then. It was nice to be so popular and always have people wanting to spend time with me. I felt so important!

One day, though, everything changed. I arrived home after school and was surprised to see mom already waiting for me in the living room. She usually had a busy schedule and I spent a few hours with my nanny before she arrived. Mom gave me this quiet look, and I immediately knew something was wrong.

She hugged me tightly and told me my dad had passed away earlier that day. I was stunned! Dad had shared breakfast with me that morning, and everything seemed normal! I asked what had happened, and she told me it was his heart. There was nothing the doctors could do.

I was heartbroken! I loved my dad dearly, and he was a great man. He didn’t deserve to pass away so soon!

I missed a whole week of school, but eventually, mom convinced me I had to keep going and move on. It was hard, but I tried my best to put on a brave face.

About a month after dad died, I was informed about his will. Mom, of course, got a seizable part, but I was the main heir. I didn’t fully understand what that meant until the lawyer and my mother walked me through the details.

Dad had created a trust fund for me in the case of his death. This included all his properties except our main house and a cottage in the mountains my mom inherited. But there was so much more! The yacht, the private plane, and his whole collection of ancient coins. The biggest surprise, though, was the bank account! It had more than 100 million dollars in it!
