Yes, another Vauxhall Cavalier Mk2 (or Opel Ascona). I've already driven one, but given this SRi has somehow ended up at the other end of the world, I thought it was probably worth a look. But, does the drive match those sporty looks?

Filmed near Tirau, New Zealand in January 2020. The Cavalier was built on the General Motors J-car platform, along with the similar Holden Camira, Cadillac Cimarron, Chevrolet Cavalier, Buick Skyhawk, Oldsmobile Firenza, Pontiac J2000, 2000 or Sunbird and Brazil-built Chevrolet Monza.
