Retirement Glasgow van het Merelsnest VDL Stud Stallion show

The VDL Stud stallion show on Saturday marked the official retirement of VDL Glasgow van het Merelsnest from the sport. He will now continue his breeding career here at the VDL Stud.

Glasgow has been a very special horse to the VDL Stud and his rider Jur Vrieling, who together, have won all over the world. He was part on the winning team in the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, he won the Grand Prix’s in Rome, Arezzo and the World Cup in Helsinki.

Glasgow has already brought successful offspring into the sport such as High Five who jumps at 1.60m level among many others. We are looking forward to seeing his offspring grow and prove themselves at the highest level just like their father!

Tijdens de hengstenshow afgelopen zaterdag nam Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest samen met Jur Vrieling afscheid van hun sportcarrière. Glasgow zal zijn carrière voortzetten als dekhengst bij VDL Stud.

Glasgow is een heel speciaal paard geweest voor VDL Stud en zijn ruiter Jur Vrieling, samen hebben ze meerdere prijzen gewonnen over de hele wereld. Jur Vrieling en Glasgow maakten samen deel uit van het winnende team in de Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, ook won hij de Grand Prix’s in Rome, Arezzo en de World Cup in Helsinki.

Glasgow heeft al meerdere succesvolle nakomelingen in de sport bezorgd een voorbeeld uit meerdere is High Five die op 1.60m niveau presteert. Wij kijken er naar uit hoe de nakomelingen van Glasgow groeien en bewijzen op het hoogste niveau net zoals hun vader!
