Description
This film reimagines Shakespeare's most famous tragedy through the eyes of Hamlet's loyal friend, Horatio. The story begins at the moment of Hamlet's death on an empty soundstage. From there, Horatio takes on the role of a film director to fulfill his promise to his dying friend: to tell Hamlet's true story. The narrative flashes back, exploring the well-known events of corruption, revenge, and madness in the Danish court, but with a focus on the deep, loving bond between Hamlet and Horatio. It's a meta-narrative that frames the classic play as a film-within-a-film, exploring themes of love, loyalty, and the power of storytelling to preserve a person's spirit even after death.
