One of the biggest K-pop groups today has to be Blackpink. The spiritual successors to 2NE1, their debut in 2016 would mark a new era in the badass, female, girl crush concept.

Blackpink would quickly catch on, as their popularity exploded in 2016 and soon became one of the premier K-pop groups in just two and a half years. Their catchy songs, good looks, slick dance moves, and branding in the fashion and makeup scenes made the group a household name in K-pop.
