35 names to be added to California Fallen Firefighters Memorial wall

The names of 35 fallen firefighters are being added to the California Firefighters Memorial wall at the state Capitol this weekend as part of the annual ceremony and procession. The ceremonies kick off Friday, a traditional bagpiper will solemnly perform at the memorial wall at Capitol Park. "A lot of firefighters, as we get older have a lot more friends and collogues on this wall than we ever realize when you start your career," said Brian Rice, California Professional Firefighter president. Saturday, there will be a memorial procession from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. featuring over a dozen fire engines lining 13th Street.
