A Quiet and Bright Place for Coffee at Zerah Coffee Roasters

This is not an easy coffee place to spot as it is hidden on the 2nd floor of a HDB building at Crawford Lane. Unless you actually need to be in the vicinity for stuff, it is hard to notice.

But it is precisely why there is a term “hidden gem” and Zerah Coffee Roasters kinda fit the description. The place gives off a bright, minimalistic and airy vibe to it.

The menu offers a limited selection of coffee and pastries yet you can find all the essentials that make up a good coffee place. First of all, the coffee. I ordered the white and it was pretty amazing! There were very strong fruity and chocolatey notes to the coffee, not as acidic, which suits my palette really well. To go with the coffee, I got myself the lemon loaf. The upper white crust was rich in citrusy taste while the cake was buttery and smooth. In my opinion, the coffee and pastry was a very nicely balanced combination.
