The Holy Week has begun and as you can see, walking down the Calle Marquez de Larios there were different expositions of the images of religious figures for everyone to see. As most of the people won't be able to fully celebrate the Holy Week due to the pandemic, this is the city's way of showcasing the Holy Week to its people.

As I pass by Plaza de la Constitución, I was able to show a bit of the Fuente de Génova which is a marble fountain built during the 16th century. It's style is Italian Renaissance, built in the 16th century and brought to Spain during the 17th century.

Walking further I reached the Plaza de Félix Sáenz which is dedicated to Féliz Sáenz Calvo, a Spanish businessman and politician, a deputy and senator for the Málaga province between the year 1916 and 1920. You ca also see his building "Almacenes Félix Sáenz" which is modernist in style.

For churros and hot chocolate, you must try the famous Casa Aranda located at Calle Herrería del Rey which is seen as you pass by Calle Puerta del Mar.

Mercado Central de Atarazanas is an old-school covered market that offers variety of food items and some tapas bars. The building has a lot of history and was restored during the 1973 where they included 108 panels of stained glass windows that represent different monuments of the city.

Going straight to Calle San Juan, you can reach Calle Santos, and when you turn right you can see the Plaza de San Ignacio where the Iglesia del Sagrado Corazon is erected. It is a neo-Gothic church. Inside you can see the pictorial work of Apolo Párkinson Molinari, painter of the Gothic style stained glass windows that surround the church.

The Museo Carmen-Thyssen is located at the Calle Compañía which is an art museum located in a Renaissance palace. I took the left turn and reached Calle Martires, there you can find more cafes, restaurants, vintage clothes shop, a barber shop, and even a bathhouse in a Moorish-styled building. There is another church found in this street named Parroquia de los Santos Mártires Ciriaco y Paula.

At Plaza de la Merced you can see a statue of Picasso, the Casa natal de Picasso, where Picasso was born and now operates as a museum, and the Monumento a Torrijos. This plaza has been a part of the city ever since the Roman era, and has been operating as the town market place since at least the 15th century.

The Cine Albéniz is a movie theater located on Calle Alcazabilla, built in 1945 with a historicist style and reminiscent of California movie theaters. This cinema offers Spanish, European, Latin American, children's movies, and foreign films in their original versions and subtitled in Spanish.

The Teatro Romano de Málaga are the archaeological remains of the ancient Malacca theater and the main preserved vestige of the Roman presence in Malaga. It is located in the historic center of the city, at the foot of the Alcazaba hill.

The Catedral de la Encarnación de Málaga is a Roman Catholic church with Renaissance architecture and style. This is the most famous Cathedral here in Málaga which is visited by many people.
