Class 502 Preservation

The Class 502 electirc trains revolutionised commuter travel on Merseyside when they were introduced between 1939 and 1941 on what is now the Merseyrail network. This video explores the long career of the 502s and showcases the work of the Friends of the 502 Group in preserving the last of these trains for posterity.
