GLO-WAVE
GLO-WAVE by Melissa Borrell
Little Stacy Park, Austin, TX
February 2014 -- June 2014
GLO-WAVE is a temporary public art installation commissioned by the Austin Art in Public Places TEMPO project.
This lightweight and playful sculpture references the water that flows in Blunn Creek. The shape is created from flat plastic sheet manipulated into a fluid, curving form. Solar Powered LED lights glow at night to illuminate the sculpture.
TEMPO is a project of the City of Austin Economic Development Department/Cultural Arts Division.
