My solo motorcycle road trip out to the Davis Mountains in West Texas opened the door for me to do some exploring in the Big Bend. Riding my 2022 Triumph Street Scrambler and carrying my new Mavic Mini 2 drone, I rode through the art town of Marfa, through the "ghost town" of Terlingua, and finally past the dusty border town of Presidio to FM 170 which stretch along the famous Rio Grande, at times literally a stones throw from Mexico. I found time for a little bit of very moderate "off-roading". The day's fading light told me it was time to head back to the mountains, a smile on my face. What a ride.
