50th Memorial Service for HM Queen Marija of Yugoslavia 2011
Their Royal Highnesses Prince Vladimir and Princess Brigitta Karadjordjevic are joined by other members of the Royal Family of Serbia and Yugoslavia to celebrate the annual memorial service to Her Majesty, the late Queen Marija of Yugoslavia. The Queen is Prince Vladimir's grandmother and was the grand daughter of Her Majesty Queen Victoria of Great Britain and the Empire.
Queen Marija was buried at Frogmore, Windsor as she died in exile in the United Kingdom in 1961, after never being able to return to Yugoslavia due to the Titoist communist abolishment of the Royal Family in 1947.
