PM has ‘lost the confidence’ of Fatima Payman over Palestine decision

One Nation Chief of Staff James Ashby discusses Labor Senator Fatima Payman crossing the floor to support a Greens’ vote on recognising a Palestinian state.

“She went into that chamber yesterday knowing very well that she would be booted out for not adhering to Labor’s caucus rules and the rules of Labor in general,” Mr Ashby told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“I think she’s already one foot out the door … this is an indication that Anthony Albanese has lost the confidence of Payman on this decision.”
