Provocations: Peter Greste on Public Good Journalism and Press Freedom
Provocations is a live, interactive academic event which seeks to shed light on competing visions for future sustainabilities, hosted by the ANU School of Cybernetics and the ANU Fenner School of Environment and Society.
This second iteration of the series welcomes Professor Peter Greste. His provocation surrounds the idea of reconsidering journalism as a public good rather than a commercial enterprise, and how we might develop a set of regulatory and funding mechanisms to make it serve that purpose.
