As America celebrates Independence Day on July 4th, millions will gather for parades, festivals, fireworks, celebrations, and national pride.

But what if this year is different?

What if 2026 is far more significant than most people realize?

This year marks America's 250th year celebration, and many believers have noticed that it also falls during a period connected to the biblical concept of Jubilee—a time associated in Scripture with liberty, release, restoration, and returning to inheritance.

While the world celebrates political freedom, today's teaching asks a deeper question:

👉 Are people truly free if they continue serving the systems, traditions, and mighty ones of this world instead of YHWH?

Today we will examine what the Scriptures say about liberty, idolatry, worldly celebrations, and obedience to YHWH.

📖 FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURES

• Leviticus 25:10

"And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof..."

🔥 The Jubilee was a proclamation of liberty according to YHWH's instructions.

• Exodus 20:3

"Thou shalt have no other mighty ones before me."

🔥 YHWH requires exclusive worship and allegiance.

• Deuteronomy 12:30-31

"Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them..."

🔥 YHWH warned His people not to adopt the customs and worship practices of surrounding nations.

"Learn not the way of the heathen..."

🔥 YHWH calls His people to be different from the nations.

"Ye cannot drink the cup of YHWH, and the cup of devils..."

🔥 Believers are called to choose whom they will serve.

"Come out of her, my people..."

🔥 YHWH's people are called to separate from practices that oppose His ways.

"Choose you this day whom ye will serve..."

🔥 Every generation must choose between serving YHWH or serving the systems of the world.

📖 FINAL EXHORTATION

The world may celebrate Independence Day, but YHWH is calling His people to something greater than national freedom.

He is calling His people to spiritual liberty.

He is calling His people to repentance.

He is calling His people to come out from the systems of this world and return to His covenant.

The greatest freedom is not found in governments, economies, or worldly celebrations.

The greatest freedom is found in obedience to YHWH and faithfulness to His Word.

Choose this day whom you will serve.
