The second salon is 'Glamorous Marilyn'. You will see all of the gowns, the jewelry; what I would call, the 'Bling of Marilyn'. Boy, there is a lot of bling in that particular salon. "

"The next salon is the 'Legacy of Marilyn'. And the legacy of Marilyn are certainly clothing items but it has to do with all of the things that are popular right now, from the Nobel wines, one of the most collectable out there are Marilyn Wine labels and these bottles, people absolutely love that type of stuff. There is the entire bread for plate collection in there. And then the last salon, is the Marilyn Doll collection. It is a beautiful display and it really contains every known doll ever made of Marilyn Monroe."

MONROE ON EXHIBIT

One of the largest collections of Marilyn Monroe memorabilia goes on display tonight (10 November 2005) on the legendary Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA., about 25 miles south of Los Angeles.

Most of " Marilyn Monroe: The Exhibit" features objects that were part of the iconic actress's life, from clothing to curlers to a certificate of marriage.

The exhibit is a combined effort of three organisations: the estate of Marilyn Monroe, Marilyn Monroe Exhibits, and CMG Worldwide, Inc.. Bob Otto, Chairman and CEO of Marilyn Monroe exhibits, told AP Television that the goal was to create an exhibition that tells the story of Marilyn Monroe that will reveal the impact of her as a legendary movie star, pop star, celebrity and international icon.
