Escondido Tilapia

I shot this with the iphone 3, that should explain the footage. I was picking up some new Tilapia out in Escondido to stock my aquaponics ponds. Escondido is still a part of San Diego County and is about a 45 minute drive from down town San Diego, Point Loma area. They had a tilapia farm and were raising fingerlings all the way to eat them tonight sizes. I was very impressed with a four hundred foot plastic irrigation tube running through a two story pile of compost to heat the water in the tanks, all operated by solar power electricity.
