What is De-Ethanizer column?

The De-Ethanizer column is for separating methane, ethane and a part of propane from the top of column, in order to satisfy the specifications on reid vapor pressure and ethane content for the LPG products.
What is the purpose of a De-Ethanizer?
The De-Ethanizer is designed to take liquid from the low temperature separator (LTS) and remove ethane and lighter components from the liquid.
