I just keep making it… and eating it 😳Plus, when I use my cast iron pot, there's barely any cleanup! 😅

For the fruit filling:
• 800–900g frozen mixed berries 🫐🍓🍒
• Zest of 1 orange 🍊
• Juice of 1 orange 🍊
• 50g granulated sugar (about ¼ cup) 🧁
• 1½ tablespoons cornstarch 🌽

For the crumble topping:
• 300g flour (about 2 cups) 🌾
• 150g butter (at room temperature) 🧈
• 150g granulated sugar (about ¾ cup)

I added the frozen berries to a cast iron pot, then grated in the orange zest and added the juice. Stirred in the sugar and cornstarch, and cooked it over medium heat until the berries thawed and the mixture thickened. Once it had a jammy but still slightly runny consistency, I took it off the heat and let it cool.

Meanwhile, I rubbed the flour, sugar, and butter together with my fingertips in a large bowl until the mixture turned crumbly, like wet sand.

I spread the cooled fruit mixture into a baking dish and topped it evenly with the crumble mixture. Baked it in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 45–50 minutes until golden on top. Let it rest a bit after baking and served it with ice cream.
