Cheaters Undercut: a specialty cut (FOR REMOVALS ONLY)

THIS CUT IS FOR REMOVAL ONLY.. DO NOT USE IT FOR PRUNING
I use this cut for maximum efficiency when taking out heavy horizontal and near horizontal limbs. The "Cheater's undercut" allows a climber or bucket operator to remove a large limb in one smooth action, without the need to reposition the saw, and offers the additional benefit of preventing saw snatch and keeping the limb from splitting which could pinch the bar.

This is one of many specialty cuts I developed over the years and part of a system I use from the bucket which will be introduced in new videos coming soon.

You won't find this cut in a book or learn it from any training organization. This video gives a thorough explanation of the technique and when, why and how it it used. It looks simple once you understand it and is certain to become a potent weapon in the arsenal of any production climber or bucket operator.
