Joe Biden said on Friday the US would not let up in its response to the Houthi rebels in Yemen ‘if they continue this outrageous behaviour’.

The US president made the comments to reporters as he toured local businesses near Allentown, Pennsylvania. Iran-backed Houthi forces are vowing fierce retaliation after the US and UK launched multiple airstrikes targeting the militant group, further raising the prospect of a wider conflict in a region already beset by Israel’s war in Gaza.
