A whiter shade of pale - video of the Hammond organ track as I learned by ear
This is one of the camera angles of the Hammond organ track of our earlier recorded cover. Unfortunatelly all three camera angles recorded from the right side, so there is no use to split the screen for better viewing. In the mix I used other take, so there are some points where the video image slightly differ from the mix.
Here is the original description of our cover:
In these collaborations, our tendency has been to
create covers of rarely played masterpieces.
This time however, we completely changed direction
by selecting an all-time, ever-green rock hit of the sixties.
This masterpiece is as similar for beginner organ players as is the
“House of the Rising Sun” by the Animals, for beginner guitar
players in that, though everybody plays it, it's very rare that the
beginner really understands how to play it properly.
Supplementing our virtual band with special guest
Kevin Laurence on piano, coupled with Len’s brilliant voice,
we all put forth our best to create a cover as close to
the original as possible.
You can decide whether we succeeded or not… :-)))
