Why do some boys behave like girls ?

Why do some boys appear more gentle or emotionally expressive, while some girls seem more bold or assertive? The answer lies, in part, in hormones.

Both boys and girls naturally have two important hormones: testosterone and estrogen. While testosterone is generally higher in males and estrogen is generally higher in females, everyone has both. These hormones play a major role in shaping physical development, emotions, and certain personality traits.

Testosterone is often associated with traits like confidence, competitiveness, risk-taking, and lower emotional sensitivity. Estrogen, on the other hand, is linked to empathy, emotional awareness, and nurturing behavior. The balance of these hormones can influence how a person thinks, feels, and behaves.

However, personality is shaped by much more than hormones alone. Environment, upbringing, life experiences, and individual differences all play a major role. That’s why every person is unique, and no one should be judged for expressing themselves differently.
