Zombies are the ideal game enemy because they look mostly like human beings but are actually brainless monsters, so you don’t have to feel bad when you run them down with a combine harvester. But it’s not all fun and games. Sometimes a zombie game will give a particular zomb a heartbreaking backstory, at which point point killing them becomes less of a guilt-free gorefest and more of a harrowing ordeal.
