DIY macrame tutorial: make your own Christmas tree wall hanging

Easy Christmas tree pattern for beginners.

You will need:
A wooden star, cotton cord 4mm, scissors.

Cut 2 cords x 3m to begin.
Then for each pair of cords you can reduce the length by 20 cm.
You will need 18 cords in total, 2 with 3m long, next pair 2.8, next 2.6 and so on. Or you might want to keep the same length for all the cords.

The tutorial uses three common macrame knots:
-larks head knot
-double half hitch knot

-square knot
- and gathering (wrapping) knot
