Flood-Hit Malaysian Villagers Evacuated Via Bulldozers

Malaysian villagers were evacuated on a bulldozer, Wednesday, January 6, as 28,000 people were forced from their homes due to floods.

Flooding has ravaged the country’s east coast during a rainy season that some say is the worst in decades.

Four deaths have been reported in the states of Pahang and Johor.

This year’s floods are especially challenging due to the ongoing Coronavirus epidemic, with some fearful they could be exposed to the virus in crowded relief centers. (AFP)
