SUNSET ON HALEAKALA (Haleakala National Park) Maui, Hawaii DURING COVID **MUST SEE**

If you're planning to visit Maui, Hawaii, you must go see the sunset at Haleakala. It takes about 45-60 mins to drive up the mountain. There are restrooms at the top of the mountain and some hiking trails. I recommend taking a jacket or sweater as it got a bit chilly (60s degrees June 13th, 2021). The parking lot does get full quickly, so you'll want to arrive at least an hour before sunset. One piece of advice** park near an exit so that you can be one of the first ones down the mountain, it takes longer to go down at night with the traffic.
