Flic-Flac | Quick Ballet Tips

Hey guys! Today I am digging up this video I filmed back in January and then never posted! 😮 Haha! Once you watch it I'm sure you will see why however I have yet to re-film it and that subscriber asked ages ago.

Flic-flac means a crack, as of a whip. It is typically performed with frappé at the barre and serves to improve speed and articulation through the floor.
Have you done flic-flac? What do you think - love it or hate it? We had to do these routinely when I was a younger dancer and truthfully it was very tricky at the beginning but I grew to love them. I still am planning to do another video on flic-flac and hopefully get the involvement of some of my students! As well as show how to practice without the turn first. Let me know if you have any questions that I can answer in that video!

I haven't had a chance to film much lately but next week I will have a lovely collaboration coming out for you so stay tuned for that!
