Dr. Milagros Miceli (Research Group Lead at Weizenbaum, DAIR researcher) and Dr. Sana Ahmad (researcher at Helmut Schmidt University) will join us to discuss the power asymmetries and working conditions of hidden and precarious data workers that are often swept under the rug in the promotion of "ethical AI" by multinational tech companies. They will present their individual research and perspectives on the working conditions of data tagging and content moderation to develop an understanding of ethical AI that puts workers and their organizations at the center.
