I never intended to grow my hair super-fast with fenugreek (methi) seeds. I was dealing with cystic acne and was searching hopelessly for something to help my skin. I somewhat got my skin under control with milk thistle and vitamin D3. However, I still had HUGE cystic hormonal acne on my face, chest and back. It was ridiculous! I finally discovered that fenugreek could be used to balance hormones. I started drinking the tea. Maybe 2 to 4 cups a day… and BAAAM!

My hormonal acne started to subside. The HUGE bumps that would take weeks to go down started to disappear after a day or two. I kept drinking the tea (and outside of smelling like waffle house) my skin was really thriving. After a few months of drinking the tea… I noticed my hair was getting much thicker and longer. I wasn’t consistent with any special hair product. So…

I looked up the benefits of fenugreek outside of hormonal balance. I couldn’t believe it! Fenugreek is great for hair! Fenugreek promotes hair growth, a healthy scalp, and really nourishes the hair follicles! So, I kept drinking my fenugreek tea and eventually started drinking fenugreek water for more convenience.

This worked for my skin and hair! I am measuring my hair growth to update everyone! I have never used the oil or pill supplements but perhaps it may work just as well.

It’s been a hard road… But black women’s hair grows!
