People are catching onto how 'big of a fake' Premier Palaszczuk is

Sky News host Paul Murray says the election polls are starting to turn on Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and “she can’t stand it”.

A poll today revealed 32 per cent of people in the state were planning to vote for the labor party in the upcoming state election.

Mr Murray said the premier, while losing in the polls and starting to lose her grip on reality, was again today trying to play the victim.

Ms Palaszczuk said today “now if it means I have to lose the election, I will risk all that if it means keeping Queenslanders safe.”

“I’m putting myself out there, I’m putting myself on the line,” she said.

“Again premier, you are not the victim,” Mr Murray said.

“No one is suggesting rip open the borders so everyone can go and have a holiday.

“We are suggesting that the system that you have presided over, that you thought would get yourself reelected, has become heartless and inflexible.

“So changing the subject is very effective in terms of media management, but as the polls have shown you, people are onto you, people are onto how political this is and how big of a fake you are because they know COVID is thousands of kilometers away to the left, and hundreds of kilometers away to the south.”
