DIY Vitamin C Serum and a Coconut Scrub....

Correction: In the video while making the serum I add 4 teaspoons of water I got a little carried away...Please follow the formulas under the video for 10% it should be as follows 1/4 tsp of vit C powder with 2 tsp of distilled water and 1/4 tsp of gylcerin...I am sorry for the confusion! CMT took over the Mad Scientist...I was concentrating so much on making sure those who have never used Vit C serum didn't make more than 5% that I was mixing the 5% up with the 10%..CORRECT FORMULAS are BELOW!

** Vitamin C serum has been shown to boost collagen protection, which increases the skins firmness...It also lightens hyperpigmentation. A vitamin C serum is acidic so will lightly exfoliate but nothing like Retin A..Vitamin C serum is also Ideal for Oily skintypes..

STRENGTH L-ASCORBIC ACID WATER/GLYCERIN

5% Serum 1/4 tsp. powder 4 tsp. distilled water 3/4 tsp. glycerin
10% Serum 1/4 tsp. powder 2 tsp. distilled water 1/4 tsp. glycerin
15% Serum 3/8 tsp. powder 2 tsp. distilled water 1/8 tsp. glycerin
20 % Serum 1/4 tsp. powder 3/4 tsp distilled water 1/4 tsp. glycerin

Coconut oil and baking soda= equal parts 1/2 tsp coconut- 1/2 tsp baking soda...
