LUO Chaowen on the XVII Tchaikovsky Competition

Chinese violinist and finalist LUO Chaowen took a bottle of water and drank it up the moment he stepped into the waiting area after finishing his second round. Off to the practice room he went, and collapsed into the armchair once he put the violin in the case.
The International Tchaikovsky Competition has probably the most challenging repertoire for contestants among all the violin competitions, said Mr Liu Zhiyong, Chinese violinist and judge of the #TCH17.
Here's the interview with LUO Chaowen and his takeaways from the first rounds. The conversation is in Mandarin.
He will appear in the final tonight in Moscow.
The video is produced for Music Lover based in Shanghai.
