FirstGen Students Embody the Spirit of American Graduate Day

Thanks to a special partnership between the College Board and Roadtrip Nation, four FirstGen students spent their summer travelling across the country to interview successful professionals who were also the first in their family to graduate from college. These four “Roadtrippers” and this once-in-a-lifetime experience underscores the mission of American Graduate Day (http://americangraduate.org/) – to explore what it takes to keep our nation’s students on track to graduation. The footage from the students’ trip will be produced to create a one-hour documentary to air on PBS in spring 2015.
