You Cannot Tone With Exercise Alone

This is video three in a series on the concept of toning up. The point of this video is to emphasize, both to my newer clients and other individuals that desire to get leaner, that performing more exercise is not an alternative to the nutritional component of fitness. Those that are new to fitness often believe that exercise will lead to muscle tone. This often produces a "more is better" mindset that can lead to over-training, injuries, frustration, and not even a hint of enhanced muscle tone. You cannot make yourself look leaner and tighter with exercise alone. It must be combined with a caloric deficit and a sound macronutrient structure on a consistent basis.

These videos were created for a gym that I train out of on Long Island, Fitness Incentive. They are very basic in nature and more along the lines of general fitness. My editing skills are improving and my objective is to create advanced videos in the future, including some hardcore training videos for those of you on the extreme end of fitness, like myself.
