CHORALE PRELUDE: "Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern" (2022)

This chorale prelude on "Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern" (eng. "How lovely shines the morning star") has it's origins in an spontaneous improvisation I recorded on my piano. After filling up some gaps, transcribing the present score for organ and adding a four-part chorale for services (it could also be used as a little prelude on it's own), the work was done in one day - on Sun., January 2nd of 2022.

Since this is my first video in the year of 2022, I wish everybody a happy, and above all healthy and blessed new year 2022. Stay safe! ;)

These pieces were played on the Hauptwerk Sampleset of Doesburg by Sonus Paradisi. The chorale prelude was played via MIDI, the four-part chorale I played myself.
