Corporate Governance Conference: How to bring the best out of the Board?

The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries recently held its 12th biennial Corporate Governance Conference. In the following session, two speakers share their views on how to bring out the best of the Board.
The first speaker is Mr Rex Auyeung Pak-kuen, Chairman of MTR Corporation Ltd. He shares his views on enhancing positive board dynamics and maximizing the individual and collective capital of the directors in performing their roles and fulfilling their responsibilities.
The second speaker, Ms Edith Shih, Executive Director and Company Secretary of CK Hutchison Holdings Ltd, shares her personal experience on organizing, conducting and attending an effective and productive board meeting.
