Hiking Rotsethornet, Volda, Norway 4K

Hiking Rotsethornet, the local city mountain of Volda, west coast Norway, 649 meters above sea level. Mid-day mid-June 2020.

This mountain is a landmark of the town Volda and it's said you can't claim to be a true citizen until you've hiked it.

It's a relatively steep climb, but aided by fixed chains and ropes, most people in good health (and some tolerance for heights) can hike it fairly easily.

Very much recommended, both for the good exercise as well as the spectacular views. I think I'm past three-digits number of hikes to this mountain, and I'm not planning on stopping any time soon!
