This time around, I took a train to Jaffna which is located in the Northern part of Sri Lanka. This is by far my most favorite train ride experience in Sri Lanka, despite being the dry landscape which makes it feels very rustic and edgy. I saw ZERO tourists on this train, and as always interaction with locals makes it a very memorable experience.
