Falling for FUJIFILM – Who needs full frame?

Hello people!

I made this quick video to tell you about how I'm falling in love with Fujifilm. I've been a Canon user since I started photography, but now I am considering switching to Fujifilm. In this video, we compare studio portraits SOOC between the Canon EOS R and the Fuji X-Pro 3. In the first session, I am using the Canon EOS R with the 50 mm F1.2 EF L lens + the X-Pro 3 with the 35 mm F2. In the second session, I am using the X-Pro 3 with the 23 mm F2.

I love BOTH of these cameras. You cannot go wrong with either camera. Some of you need & want full frame. I get it. It entirely depends on YOUR use case and your preferences as a shooter! I can't tell you which camera is better because what matters is which camera is better for YOU.

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a full-time photographer. I'm a part-time professional photographer. I have a studio portrait business where I mostly work with classical musicians and actors. My full-time job is Director of Operations at Opera Santa Barbara where I am also the Staff Photographer/Videographer. I DO NOT have as much experience as a full-time professional who has been shooting for 10 years, etc. I am making this video to share my thoughts about how the Fujifilm system might fulfill MY needs. Please understand my use case!
