Vintage Children's Stories: Raggedy Ann and Andy: Doctor Raggedy Andy by Johnny Gruelle

In this chapter, Marcella, Raggedy Ann and Andy's mistress, decided all her dollies had sickness with the French doll have the most -- yellow fever, whooping cough, amongst others. So, of course, the French doll would need a good dose of medicine to help her get better. Unfortunately, the stickiness from the medicine caused the French doll's eyes to be stuck shut.

After Marcella left the dolls for the night, Raggedy Ann and Andy went to work trying to figure out how to help their dear little friend the French doll. They tried a few things until, finally, they found something that worked, giving them enough time to rollick and play before the humans woke up.
