I'm in literal tears with how beautiful the rain complemented the lasers during Lane 8's set at Proper! I'm also in tears because my grandpa passed away a year ago today and Lane 8 during New Years brings back memories of that dark time. I remember last year finding out he was sick on New Years Day and was rushed to the hospital in OC but because of Covid there were no visitors allowed. So, instead of driving 6-hours where I couldn't even visit him, I decided to cry my tears at Lane 8 Fresh Start in SF...and two days later my grandpa passed away. Lane 8's music will always have a special place in my heart because it has literally saved my life during the darkest times of grief and heartache.

If you ever see this Daniel, thank you so much for everything that you do and for helping me find the light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

With that being said, I have some sad news to share. I will be taking a break from YouTube for a bit because the financial and emotional burden is just too much for me to handle right now. I also want to take this time to focus on my mental and physical health and just find my happiness again. I've attended over 300+ shows/music festivals in search of my "Rave Bae" but I've actually never found her and I always end up coming home sad and disappointed. I think I need some time to just be happy with myself and the right girl will come along when I finally love myself wholeheartedly.

It's a shame though because I spent 4 years building up this channel and I FINALLY found the best way to record video and audio (GoPro for video + iPhone 14 Pro for audio) and I feel like I am always pumping out the best videos for these sets but I've come to a point where I've spent way too much money on tickets, traveling, lodging, etc and even editing afterwards all on my own dime. It's been a fun ride y'all and I'm sure I'll be recording some shows here and there if I feel like it but for now...
